Natural products and peptides have historically been fantastic sources of medicines and agricultural products. In the Parkinson lab, we are interested in the discovery of novel bioactive natural products and peptides. Additionally, we develop improved derivatives and determine their mechanisms of action. We are particularly interested in molecules with antimicrobial, anticancer, antiamoebic, and antiphytopathogenic activities. We are also open to collaborations for screening other activities.
